Kind Cotton &
Growing Toward Liberation™
Collection
I am so honored to have a Growing Toward Liberation™ product collection with Kind Cotton! Kind Cotton is a family-owned company co-founded by a teacher, Kaitlin Johnstone and her husband, Kevin. Their work is rooted in spreading justice and action toward a kinder and more inclusive world. Kind Cotton donates 1 inclusive book to a child with EVERY purchase.
Their mission is to put 1 million inclusive books in the hands of kids!
The designs in the Growing Toward Liberation™ collection are all rooted in the mission and values that anchor the work done with families and educators here in the Growing Toward Liberation community, as well as my roles beyond this space as a parent, special education teacher, teacher educator, and a mental health and public education advocate for the last 20+ years.

*The “Kids Belong” design was co-created with and modeled by my own children, who enthusiastically consented to all parts of the process. They receive ongoing, direct, monetary compensation for their work from any profits our family receives from that design.
